A study of co-founder partnerships — what makes them work, and what breaks them.
We are pairing a survey dataset on co-founder relationships with the stories behind those relationships. We're talking with investors, ecosystem leaders and co-founders who have seen partnership up close.
Learn more and take part →Dan has spent his career living in the founder mindset. He co-founded MyPoints in 1996, helping take it through an IPO and an acquisition by United Airlines. He was on the founding team of imint in India (acquired by PAYBACK, later part of American Express, now Zillions), an early executive at Cellfire (acquired by Catalina Marketing), and co-founder of Wizely, one of India's first savings apps (acquired by OneCard). Collectively, he's helped these companies raise over $80M in venture capital and exit for $300M+ in value.
Along the way he has backed and built programs for other founders: ten years as a Techstars mentor, Managing Director of Impact Hub Bellevue, and most recently Managing Director of REI's Path Ahead Ventures, which provides programs and funding for innovative outdoor founders. He serves on the board of Outdoor Afro and the WTIA Startup Advisory Board.
He started as a product engineer at Ford, was born and raised in Boston, and will talk lacrosse with anyone who lets him.
